Neighborhoods & the Evaluation of Interventions to Improve Health & the Distribution of Resources
Understanding the role of local conditions in evaluation research.
The evaluation of interventions plays a key role in formulating and funding programs and policies, from those designed to improve health and employment to staff productivity and non-reimbursable hospital visits. We assess how local infrastructure and socioeconomic conditions impact the effectiveness of interventions, including advanced medical technologies in diabetes management, patient care and discharge plans, and intensive case management strategies, especially in rural communities.
