Connecting the social and built environment to health and health inequalities

Housing & the Built Environment

Examining how housing infrastructure and the built environment shape health and daily life.

Housing is a central pathway through which social and environmental conditions affect health. Our work focuses on how housing quality, stability, and surrounding infrastructure shape health outcomes across the life course. Across our projects, we bring together detailed housing, health, and environmental data with population-based studies to better understand how everyday living conditions influence health.
