Connecting the social and built environment to health and health inequalities

Environmental Stressors & Population Health

Studying how environmental conditions shape health risks across populations.

Environmental conditions—including extreme weather events—play a critical role in shaping our health. Our work brings together environmental data and population-based studies to understand how environmental exposures interact with social and built environments, with a particular focus on aging populations and communities facing higher levels of environmental risk.
